I Sat With God Today And Thanked Him For the Flower Buds III

$85.00

8” x 10” original oil painting with pastel, framed

I spent a while reading through the Psalms, reflecting on their messages of beauty and nature — God’s wisdom and greatness, His power. I thought of the new flower buds outside my studio, so small, so fragile, so still and I sat in awe of how much power they too have. Through frozen, dead ground they grow. Their blossoms can lift a melancholy spirit. I like to believe these little buds are here to comfort us and remind us of God’s promise to give great strength to small and fragile things.
