These special limited edition prints of "Mit Catharina" are a paused moment in the middle of the creation of this painting. I was blocking in Catharina's raven visitor and the sketch looked so much like a ghostly form, I spent a long time deciding whether to call the painting "finished" at this moment. In the end, I chose to complete painting the raven. These prints are all that will remain of our serendipitous meeting with the specter.
